I've done something I've never done before with this, and that's create content in a audio/video form. I struggled a lot with this film because I felt as if I couldn't commit anything to writing due to having constantly-changing thoughts about the art. I decided to do an analysis of the first fifteen minutes (roughly) of the film, as it functions as a creation myth for the movie. The film is so overloaded with esoteric coding that I actually got a headache watching it and had to frequently pause it.
In the future I'm going to continue doing audio/video content but hopefully improve significantly at it, as you can see my version of it here is a bit rough. I'm not used to talking into a mic without another person hearing me so it took me a little while to really get into it smoothly (about the 7 minute mark I really get going). Here's my video.
Feel free to increase the speed a little to condense it. Again, I started off a little unfocused but I'm glad that I learned how to do this since I figured I'd fail at it. It's all one take, I'm going to work on getting some editing software to make cleaner content for everyone in the future. Another reason this was done in a video is I wanted people to see my thinking patterns and process and see the things that I struggled with. It's very open form and that's difficult to capture in writing. I think in the future in film interpretation or other art I'll probably continue to attempt it in video form as well.
Overall, I think the creation mythology and metaphysical representations therein are ultimately a masculine and feminine aspect of balance being shattered, and it's imposed over the World Tree's higher and lower realms, where the goddess is present and gives birth to a Christ-like solar messiah to bridge them back together by correctly orienting the masculine and feminine aspects to their correct balance. That's my conclusion shown in the introduction, however I'm still not fully settled on that take.
Since it's not edited, there's one part around 33m to 34m where I get mixed up with a few ideas and what I was trying to recall slipped so I went past it. I was talking about metaphysical things being typically tripartite and was thinking of Joseph P. Farrell's concept of the Topological Metaphor of the Medium. In the future that's something I can correct with editing so please excuse the fumble. Any critiques of how I do this type of content are welcome, because I think I'd be able to contribute better in the future with it.
Some interpretations I'm quite happy with, some I'm a bit frustrated that I couldn't articulate well enough. I didn't know what I was getting into with this movie being so loaded but hopefully you find a concept in it that's useful.
